El presidente Alberto Fernández aseguró hoy que se siente “bien” y destacó que gracias a la vacuna el cuadro de coronavirus que tiene no es grave, a la vez que indicó que está a la espera de que se confirme la cepa con la que se contagió.
“Me siento bien, no tengo ningún síntoma preocupante. Lo mío fue casi preventivo. Ayer (viernes) fue mi cumpleaños, estuve tocando la guitarra y almorzando con mi hijo (Estanislao) y (la primera dama) Fabiola (Yáñez). A la noche, sentí un dolor de cabeza y me tomé la temperatura y dio 37,3. Me hice un test rápido que dio positivo. Luego hicimos el PCR que esperamos el resultado para el día de hoy (sábado)”, sostuvo el mandatario.
En declaraciones a AM750, el jefe de Estado agregó: “Se va a analizar en el (Instituto) Malbrán para saber qué cepa y si se confirma el diagnóstico”.
“Evidentemente la vacuna generó una protección que permite que yo no la esté pasando como puede pasarla una persona de 62 años que tiene esta enfermedad”, remarcó.
Alberto Fernández también se refirió al modo en que contrajo la enfermedad y afirmó que no tiene “la menor idea” del origen de su contagio.
“No tengo la menor idea de cómo pude contagiarme. Sé que hubo un contacto en la cocina, pero me dicen que donde se produjo el contagio, no tuvieron ningún contacto conmigo”, relató.
Ante ese desconocimiento, el Presidente reiteró la necesidad de mantener los cuidados preventivos para evitar contagios.
“Esto debe servir para que todos entendamos el riesgo que corremos. Esto nos ataca a todos. Al margen de lo que se escribe, yo me cuido mucho. Mantengo la distancia. Tenemos que entender la gravedad del momento que vivimos”, afirmó.
Y añadió: “No podemos descuidarnos, uno confía en la sociedad y llama a la disciplina social, pero en muchos sectores no nos escuchan y el problema sigue existiendo. Los problemas de contagio ocurren cuando la gente se relaja”.
Respecto a cómo pasa el aislamiento, el mandatario indicó que está en la casa de huéspedes y que el médico le permitió salir a caminar por el parque de la Residencia Presidencial de Olivos.
“Le pregunté al médico si podía salir a caminar y me dijo que me ponga el barbijo y lo hiciera”, explicó.
Además, el jefe de Estado se refirió a la reunión que iba a mantener con el jefe de Gobierno porteño, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, y que debió suspender tras su contagio.
“Vemos un incremento de casos muy grande, a una velocidad de contagios mayor que en el primer momento en el Area Metropolitana de Buenos Aires (AMBA)”, analizó.
En ese sentido, indicó que los casos positivos “empiezan en el AMBA y se contamina el resto del país”, ante lo cual deslizó que pretende impulsar medidas restrictivas en la zona más poblada del país: “Quisiera que hagamos algo para frenar esto en el área metropolitana”.
“Entiendo que todos tienen muchas dificultades para volver a soportar un encierro, pero es lo que está ocurriendo en el mundo. Hay muchos países con toque de queda en este momento. Toda Europa prácticamente se cierra por la tarde, hay países que cancelaron las clases”, finalizó.
