Desde ese momento los empleados municipales de la provincia de Buenos Aires pasaron a cobrar sólo el 1% por año de antigüedad.
Esta tarde, en el Concejo Deliberante, fue aprobado por mayoría un proyecto elevado por el intendente Gustavo Pulti en el cual establece la recomposición de 1 a 3% por año de antigüedad para los agentes municipales, Derecho que nhabía sido alterado en toda la provincia de Buenos Aires durante la gobernación de Eduardo Duhalde.
En ese contexto, el concejal Ariel Ciano sostuvo que “se trata de restituir un Derecho que se les había quitado a los compañeros municipales en otra época; como vocero de la gestión municipal en el deliberativo puedo decir que nos sentimos con orgullo de poder devolverle a los trabajadores lo que les corresponde”
En esa línea, el presidente del bloque de Acción Marplatense recordó: “Cuando llegamos a la gestión se pagaban bonificaciones de un 40% en negro; Vialidad estaba parada y destruida; en la Dirección de Tránsito había paros todos los meses porque faltaban insumos, ropa y elementos mínimos para funcionar. Ellos fueron los que pusieron el cuerpo a momentos difíciles. Hoy estamos satisfechos porque los compañeros municipales son los mejores remunerados de provincia; siempre falta, siempre hay que mejorar, pero hoy damos un paso importante para reconocerlos”
“Esta ordenanza impulsada por el intendente Gustavo Pulti reconoce a los trabajadores ya que son los propios empleados municipales los que están recuperando los escenarios deportivos, los que están construyendo las canchas de hockey”, manifestó Ciano y agregó: “hoy junto a los trabajadores municipales podemos atender el 100 por cien de la llamadas al 147 y son quienes nos posibilitan darle una respuesta en pocos días a los vecinos.”
“Junto a los compañeros municipales se atienden en siete lugares para realizar las licencias de conducir, son ellos los que trabajan en el CEMA, donde ya atendieron a 100 vecinos en un marco de excelencia. Hemos tenido tensiones, como siempre entre sectores que defienden sus derechos y que tienen obligaciones. Pero el Sindicato de Trabajadores Municipales tiene una dirigencia y conducción responsable que pelea constantemente por los derechos de los trabajadores, lo hacen con responsabilidad lo que los ha llevado a lograr reivindicaciones históricas”, remarcó Ariel Ciano.

Por su parte, Antonio Gilardi, secretario general del Sindicato de Trabajadores Municipales destacó su agradecimiento “al intendente Pulti que en su oportunidad firmó el acta acuerdo que posibilitó finalmente elevar el proyecto que se transforma hoy en ordenanza y que le restituye a los empleados municipales el 3 por ciento por año de antigüedad”
“Debo reconocer que él junto a los ediles que votaron a favor la propuesta realizaron un acto de estricta justicia”, concluyó el Secretario General del Sindicato de Municipales.
