El vuelo de Aerolíneas Argentinas que traerá un nuevo cargamento de vacunas Sputnik V contra el coronavirus partió esta madrugada rumbo a Rusia y regresará mañana al país.
En su séptima operación a Moscú, el avión de AA despegó a la 1.15 desde el aeropuerto internacional de Ezeiza, según informaron fuentes de la compañía.
Se trata de “una gran responsabilidad para todo el equipo de nuestra aerolínea de bandera”, expresó este miércoles el presidente de la compañía, Pablo Ceriani, en su cuenta de Twitter.
El vuelo AR1060 cubrirá la ruta de forma directa y permanecerá en Moscú alrededor de 4 horas para realizar la estiba, en tanto que el regreso, bajo el numero AR1061, se concretará mañana viernes a las 15.
En total, serán 40 horas de operación entre las 16 horas de vuelo hacia el aeropuerto de Sheremetievo, el proceso de carga y las casi 18 horas que insume el tramo Moscú-Buenos Aires.
Tal como ocurrió con los otros vuelos, la aeronave transitará su ruta hacia Moscú en calidad de “ferry”, es decir sin carga ni pasajeros, y volverá en condición de vuelo carguero.
La operatoria estará a cargo nuevamente de 10 tripulantes, entre pilotos y copilotos, a los que se suman técnicos de carga, de mantenimiento y tripulantes de cabina, totalizando 20 personas a bordo.
Aerolíneas Argentinas inició sus vuelos a Moscú a fines de diciembre y en los dos primeros vuelos llegaron al país 600 mil dosis de Sputnik V, mientras que en el tercero fueron 220 mil.
En el cuarto vuelo se trasladaron 400 mil vacunas y luego siguieron otras 904 mil provenientes de la República Popular de China.
El quinto viaje fue otra vez a Rusia para la adquisición de 517 mil inyecciones y el sexto operativo trajo al país desde Moscú otras 732 mil.
En total, hasta el momento la Argentina trasladó al territorio nacional 3.374.000 dosis de vacunas desde Rusia y China en vuelos de su aerolínea de bandera.
Con la idea de intensificar en el corto plazo el ritmo de vacunación en todo el país y luego del acuerdo que posibilitará la llegada de 3 millones de dosis de la vacuna china Sinopharm, el Gobierno nacional apura los detalles para conseguir también un rápido arribo de ese cargamento.
