Incertidumbre entre más de 80 empleados del Hotel Sheraton, luego de que la empresa decidiera cerrar sus puertas temporalmente desde ayer y suspender a casi la totalidad de los trabajadores, que cobrarán solo una parte de su salario los próximos meses.
Según se explicó desde la agrupación hotelera y gastronómica 25 de Mayo, la empresa se plegó al artículo 223 que regula el tema laboral y que habilita suspensiones por fuerza mayor, reduciendo el sueldo a más del 50%.
Si bien el artículo 223 permite el cierre hasta el 31 de mayo, ya se anticipó el regreso de la actividad será para las vacaciones de invierno. Otro detalle de este artículo, es que los trabajadores no tienen derecho a cobrar ni vacaciones ni aguinaldos.
Según se detalló, la empresa habría anticipado que iban a tomar esa decisión pero no lo habían confirmado con ningún anuncio oficial.
La información extraoficial es el que Hotel Sheraton cerrará sus puertas hasta las vacaciones de invierno, ocasión en que retomará su actividad para recibir al turismo y luego volverían a cerrar sus puertas por tiempo indeterminado.
