La escasez de vacuna pega en la provincia de Buenos Aires, que viene administrando las dosis para que todos los días se garantice la aplicación. El ritmo, sin embargo, sigue en baja con el correr de las jornadas y si la logística para la entrega de las 330 mil dosis de Sputnik V que ingresaron al país no se acelera, la provincia que gobierna Axel Kicillof podría quedarse sin vacunas. Sin embargo, funcionarios de la cartera sanitaria bonaerense imaginan que ese escenario se evitará.
De esas 330 mil, se espera que entre el 30 y el 40 por ciento sean destinadas al territorio bonaerense. Es decir que habrá más de 100 mil dosis a distribuir en la Provincia en los próximos días. Cuando el lote llegue a la administración bonaerense, la Provincia tardará dos días en completar la logística para que las dosis estén ya en las postas y listas para aplicarse. “Si esas vacunas no entran ahora, posiblemente entre lunes y martes no quedarían más vacunas. No es que estamos guardando vacunas, llegan y aplicamos”, explicó a Infobae el jefe de Gabinete del ministerio de Salud, Enio García. Un diagnóstico similar al que días atrás evidenció el viceministro de Salud bonaerense, Nicolás Kreplak.
Hasta este sábado la gestión de Kicillof había aplicado un total de 1.202.535 dosis (970.769 de primera dosis y 231.763 de la segunda). Un número celebrado, pero alejado del cálculo inicial.
“Cuando nosotros empezamos a planificar la campaña estaba la posibilidad de tener una buena cantidad de vacunas, cosa que después no se concretó. Habíamos programado vacunar 6 millones de personas entre enero y marzo. Teníamos la capacidad para eso”, explicó a Infobae Enio García. Luego empezó a haber problemas en la producción a escala mundial y sólo un puñado países avanzó a la escala planeada.
Esas 6 millones de vacunas que se iban a dar entre enero y marzo serían aplicadas en escuelas. Con el comienzo de las clases, se pusieron en marcha nuevas postas de vacunación junto a los municipios. El Ministerio de Salud reconoció que hubo municipios más activos en la campaña de vacunación que otros. Destacan la gestión del distrito de Quilmes y cuestionan el letargo de otras comunas, como por ejemplo San Isidro. Hasta este sábado había 28.654 aplicaciones dadas en Quilmes y 13.823 en San Isidro. “Eso desequilibró un poco la balanza para que pudiéramos dar los turnos”, reconoció García y por eso hay municipios donde la vacunación avanza más rápido que en otros. Todo es dinámico.
El sistema de turnos responde a un algoritmo que funciona en la base de datos del sitio Vacunate PBA en función de la cantidad de vacunas disponibles. La programación responde a los grupos poblacionales que va habilitando el Ministerio. Semanas atrás, por ejemplo, se inició la vacunación en el personal docente una vez que ya se había avanzado en el personal de salud.
El récord de vacunados fue el día 10 de marzo con 59.705 aplicaciones correspondiente a la primera dosis en toda la provincia. Diez días después, fue el pico de la segunda dosis con 25.065 aplicaciones, según el registro oficial.
Entre los problemas que aparecen también se reconoció un 10% promedio de ausentismo. Personas que se anotan para vacunarse, reciben el turno pero no asisten al vacunatorio. Los motivos son varios. García explicó que “a veces se de da porque no lo vio, no abrió la aplicación, el mail le entró a spam o no podía ir”.
“Nosotros ahora tenemos que proteger a la población de entre 60 y 70 años. Ya protegimos al personal de salud: la mayoría del personal de salud, está vacunada. Los que no están son los que se inscribieron ahora o no se inscribieron”, explicó el funcionario de Salud bonaerense ante la consulta de si es posible dar la vacuna Sinopharm a personas mayores de 60.
La intención es que se pueda vacunar con la dosis china a adultos mayores. Pero esa autorización, correrá por parte de la ANMAT. Hay expectativa para que se avance en ese camino. Algunos especialistas como por ejemplo Ernesto Resnik sostienen que habría que aprobar la aplicación en ese grupo etario.
Enio García detalló que la franja de personas de entre 60 y 70 años son quienes más ocupan camas. Además es población que todavía circula con frecuencia por la vía pública a diferencia de los mayores de 70 para quienes el contagio es más letal.
Desde el inicio de la pandemia, y a la espera de la segunda ola, en la Provincia se registraron más de 934 mil casos confirmados, de los cuales 733 mil ya fueron recuperados. Hasta este sábado se registraban 27.465 fallecidos, alcanzando una letalidad del 2,94%.
