El ministerio de Salud de la provincia de Buenos Aires confirmó 22 casos de la variante Delta de coronavirus. En esta línea aseguraron que no existe la circulación comunitaria en el territorio. Según informaron, son 22 los casos confirmados, 20 son viajeros internacionales (13 detectados en punto de entrada, 7 detectados en seguimiento en hoteles). Además, 2 casos por contacto estrecho.
A través de su cuenta de Twitter el ministro de Salud detalló: “Gran parte del trabajo para retrasar la circulación comunitaria de la variante Delta se debe a los controles exhaustivos que realizamos en conjunto con Migraciones. En provincia de Buenos Aires tenemos 22 casos confirmados y todos con nexo a personas viajeras”.
En la conferencia del último martes que encabezaron Kicillof, Daniel Gollan y Carlos Bianco, los funcionarios informaron que, hasta ese día, había 12 casos confirmados de la variante Delta.
Tres días después se sumaron 10 contagios más y esperan que el número se vuelva a actualizar el próximo martes, que es el día en el que el gobierno bonaerense informa sobre el avance de la pandemia en el territorio.
Cabe destacar que hace unos días Axel Kicillof, aprovechó para criticar a quienes no cumplen el aislamiento y contribuyen a que llegue la variante Delta al país: “Hay que cuidarse, sobre todo porque algunos irresponsables, por decir lo menos, han venido del exterior contagiados con la variante Delta e insisten en no cumplir las medidas de cuidado. Esto no es el ‘sálvese quien pueda’ o ‘yo hago lo que quiero’. Acá estamos en una emergencia sanitaria y estas variantes pueden hacernos retroceder rápidamente. Necesitamos demorar el avance de la variante Delta”.
