Un grupo de vecinos de la localidad de Batán juntaron más de mil firmas para solicitar que regrese el Plan Federal de Ferias, que se vio interrumpido a pedido del Ejecutivo local luego de la queja de los comerciantes de la zona.
La suspensión de la Feria generó que “los vecinos hoy queden postergados y perjudicados al no poder encontrar un lugar para ubicarnos y seguir ofreciendo estos productos que pertenecen a otros vecinos y pequeñas pymes de la ciudad, que encontraron una posibilidad de darse a conocer y acercarse a la gente”, explicó el coordinador local del PFF, Mauricio Maglione.
Al mismo tiempo, el dirigente destacó que “en las zonas de Mar del Plata donde la Feria funciona, no hubo ninguna queja de los comerciantes, por el contrario”.
Por pedido del Ejecutivo local, se suspendió momentáneamente la Feria de Batán hasta encontrar en conjunto un lugar donde pueda funcionar. “Estamos a la espera de que se encuentre un punto de articulación y que todos podamos confluir positivamente: comerciantes, feriantes y vecinos”, remarcó Maglione.
El Plan Federal de Ferias se viene desarrollando hace más de un mes en Mar del Plata de la mano de la Dirección Nacional de Políticas Integradoras del Ministerio de Desarrollo Social de la Nación. Actualmente se presenta los lunes en la Vieja Usina de Rondeau y Magallanes, los martes en la plaza de Brown y 20 de Septiembre, los miércoles en el barrio Centenario (Chile y Peña), y los jueves en la Cooperativa Nuevo Amanecer (Tierra del Fuego y Luro).
