Un taxista que chocó anoche a una motociclista en Fortunato de la Plaza y Talcahuano se entregó finalmente a la policía, luego de que en los minutos posteriores al accidente huyera del lugar del hecho.
El episodio se dio en una esquina que tiene semáforo, pero en determinado horario de la noche se pone en intermitente. Precisamente en ese momento en que el semáforo titilaba, se dio el accidente entre ambos vehículos.
Fue un llamado al 911 el que alertó a la Policía y personal de la Comisaría Quinta se acercó al lugar para socorrer a la víctima, que tuvo que ser derivada al Hospital Interzonal.
Además, los agentes se pusieron en la búsqueda del taxista, que se fugó en primera instancia. Sin embargo, a lo pocos minutos se hizo presente en la comisaría donde confesó haber estado involucrado en ese accidente y se puso a disposición de la justicia.
La Policía Científica secuestró los vehículos para determinar los motivos del accidente. Sobre el taxista, de 62 años, desde la Fiscalía de Delitos Culposos se abrió una causa por “lesiones culposas”.
