La empresa Sinergium Biotech, del empresario farmacéutico más cercano al gobierno le venderá al Estado 1,5 millón de dosis de la vacuna cuadrivalente contra el virus del papiloma humano (VPH). Esta vacuna fue agregada al calendario de vacunación en 2011, cuando su ampliación estaba a cargo de la ahora ministra de Salud, Carla Vizzotti.
Sigman ofertó 26,7 millones de dólares y obtuvo el beneficio de la contratación directa, esto significa que no tuvo que pasar por una licitación.
Curiosamente, el resultado de la contratación apareció en la plataforma digital Comprar tan sólo tres días después de que Sigman se reuniera en Madrid con Ginés en el lobby de un hotel.
Ginés siempre estuvo muy vinculado al empresario farmacéutico, a tal punto que le facilitó el contrato para la producción local de 22,4 millones de dosis de Astrazeneca. Sigman prometió millones de dosis para marzo pero Argentina recibió las primeras recién en los últimos días.
En febrero de este año, pocos días antes de dejar el ministerio, Ginés le adjudicó al laboratorio Elea de Sigman 5000 viales de suero equino por 143 millones de pesos. El empresario es además el principal proveedor de alcohol en gel del país.
Pese a la salida de Ginés del Gobierno, Sigman sigue teniendo estrechos vínculos con el Ejecutivo. La jefa de gabinete de Vizzotti, Sonia Tarragona, fue directora de la Fundación Mundo Sano, de la esposa de Sigman y accionista de Insud, Silvia Gold.
