La Federación de Sindicatos de Trabajadores de la Carne de la República Argentina (FESITCARA) anunció el inicio de un plan de lucha, en rechazo a la reducción de exportaciones de carne aplicada por el gobierno nacional.
Los gremios de la carne aseguran que la medida del Gobierno tiene un impacto negativo en la actividad, con reducciones de hasta un 50% en el salario de los trabajadores y la pérdida de miles de trabajo en frigoríficos.
La organización, a través de sus sindicatos adheridos, comenzará en las próximas horas con asambleas informativas en plantas frigoríficas que afectarán el normal funcionamiento de los establecimientos poniendo en riesgo el abastecimiento en carnicerías.
Además se resolvió realizar una movilización a la Secretaría de Comercio y el Ministerio de Trabajo de la Nación “para que las autoridades tomen las medidas necesarias a fin que no se vean afectados nuestros ingresos, justo en medio de la pandemia”.
Salarios y pobreza
“El plan de lucha será contundente en todo el país. Lamentamos llegar a esta decisión pero no vamos a permitir que nuestros compañeros sufran reducciones salariales quedando con salarios por debajo de la línea de la pobreza y se pongan en riesgo puestos de trabajo”, señaló Gabriel Vallejos, secretario general de la FESITCARA.
Las medidas gremiales fueron definidas durante reunión de consejo directivo realizada este martes con participación de dirigentes de distintos puntos del país, que “coincidieron en la necesidad urgente del plan de acción”, se informó en un comunicado.
Otra de las preocupaciones expresadas por la federación es la difícil actualidad de la obra social del sector, OSTCARA, que “se ve afectada fuertemente en sus ingresos, justo en el momento en que más prestaciones estamos dando, en virtud de la pandemia que es de público y notorio conocimiento”.
