El histórico complejo Torres de Manantiales anunció una reestructuración de su actividad y cerró la venta de alojamiento para turistas, por lo que se abrió el retiro voluntario para sus trabajadores. El delegado gremial del establecimiento, Pablo Santín, dijo que la situación es “crítica y preocupante”.
Las autoridades de Manantiales se sumaron a lo que habían determinado meses atrás los dueños del Sheraton Mar del Plata, y también cerraron sus puertas para alojar turistas. Ocurre a pocas semanas de que comiencen las vacaciones de invierno, lo que evidencia la grave situación que atraviesa el sector, uno de los más golpeados por las restricciones ante la pandemia.
Santín, referente de la agrupación hotelera y gastronómica “25 de Mayo”, confirmó que el hotel cerrará sus puertas al turismo y que se abrió “una reestructuración en la empresa” que derivará en pasar solo a funcionar con el alquiler mensual de departamentos, lo cual “da cuenta de la situación crítica y preocupante de nuestra actividad”.
A partir de ahora, el complejo ubicado en Alberti 445, emblemático establecimiento de Mar del Plata, dejará de tratar con el turismo y de hecho ya cerró la venta de plazas hoteleras. “La empresa abrió el retiro voluntario que garantiza el 100% de las indemnizaciones”, precisó el delegado del establecimiento.
