La cantidad de motos patentadas creció 29,9% en junio respecto del mismo mes del año pasado, mientras que frente a mayo último avanzó 44,3%, en un contexto en el que los planes oficiales y la búsqueda de medios de transporte alternativos ante la pandemia impulsan al sector, informó ayer ACARA.
El mes pasado se vendieron unas 30.066 unidades cero kilómetro, mientras que para ese período de 2020 se había llegado a sólo 23.153 unidades, indicó esa entidad que engloba a los concesionarios.
De ese modo, el avance interanual fue de 29,9%, de acuerdo con el registro.
Si la comparación es contra mayo, se observa una suba del 44,3%, ya que en ese mes se habían registrado 20.839.
El reporte subrayó así que en los primeros seis meses del año se patentaron 168.466 unidades, un 51,5% más que en el mismo período de 2020, en el que se habían registrado 111.222.
El presidente de ACARA, Ricardo Salomé, consideró: “Al igual que lo sucedido en el mercado de autos, junio fue un buen mes para las motos, con el Plan Mi Moto, con financiación oficial del Banco Nación, como puntal dinamizador del mercado y ya en su sexta etapa”.
“Se suma además la búsqueda de la gente de medios alternativos de transporte, especialmente en el AMBA, algo que venimos observando desde el inicio de la pandemia, y que en este sector se ha convertido en una oportunidad”, remarcó.
A su vez, evaluó: “Entendemos que vamos seguir teniendo meses con estos niveles de actividad con lo cual seguiremos trabajando junto a las fábricas y las autoridades nacionales para no desaprovechar este momento auspicioso”.
El director Institucional de ACARA, Carlos Movio, evaluó: “La actual demanda está conformada en un porcentaje muy alto de unidades de baja cilindrada, mayor al 90”.
“Por eso, hay una mesa de trabajo de la que forma parte la Secretaría de Industria para que otros segmentos puedan ofrecer una mayor disponibilidad de unidades, algo que tenemos por delante y que en la medida que podamos realizarlo también va a terminar impactando en mayor actividad”, indicó.
En cuanto a la participación, no se registraron grandes cambios de posiciones en los primeros puestos con respecto a los últimos meses, ya que Honda volvió a liderar el mercado con 6.387 unidades seguida por Motomel, con 4.009 y Corven, con 3.919.
Luego se ubicaron por segundo mes consecutivo Gilera cuarta, con 3.571 unidades, y quinta Zanella con 2.363, que superó a Keller, con 2.164 motos.
Según datos de ACARA, también viene en alza el mercado de motos usadas, dado que según el último estudio dado a conocer sobre ese sector en particular, las ventas subieron en mayo un 23% con respecto al mismo mes de 2020.
El acumulado del año arrojó de ese modo un avance equivalente a 61% frente a las 89.514 unidades de los primeros cinco mes de 2020.
