La ex gobernadora María Eugenia Vidal abandonó la provincia de Buenos Aires para continuar su carrera política en la Capital Federal, y cerró su “etapa” con un broche de oro que no le perdonaron en las redes sociales: cambió su biografía y ya no se define “orgullosamente bonaerense”.
Tal como lo adelantó INFOCIELO, Vidal formará parte de las elecciones legislativas en el bastión del PRO, la Capital Federal. El principal motivo es meramente político: las encuestas no muestran un escenario favorable a la oposición en la Provincia, y la ex gobernadora no quería ser nuevamente carne de cañón, pese a que contaba con el apoyo de todo Juntos por el Cambio.
Tras las elecciones de 2019 se fragmentó Juntos por el Cambio. El quiebre más importante, quizás, se produjo en María Eugenia Vidal. Por eso, tras el pase de mando a Axel Kicillof la ex gobernadora se tomó varios meses de descanso de la política.
En su regreso, parecía ser el número puesto para encabezar la fórmula opositora en las elecciones de 2021. Así lo daban por descontado puertas adentro de Juntos por el Cambio. Su presencia era símbolo de unidad, incluso con el radicalismo, y una imagen conocida y fuerte: ideal para descontarle el máximo posible de puntos al oficialismo y, por qué no, mantener la mayoría en el Senado bonaerense.
Sin embargo ella prefirió bajarse del barco. Entendió que dar la cara “por el equipo” era un nuevo sacrificio, y no le perdonó a Mauricio Macri que la “arrastre” en 2019. Es que podría haber desdoblado las elecciones y competir mano a mano con Kicillof, sin el lastre de la mala gestión a nivel nacional. Fue Macri quien se lo prohibió. Por eso cuando el ex presidente la invitó a un almuerzo y le pidió que sea candidata nuevamente en la Provincia ella le dijo que no.
Una nueva etapa en Juntos por el Cambio
Atrás quedaron las luchas contra las mafias y el narcotráfico en el conurbano bonaerense, ejes de la campaña en 2019. La nueva versión de la ex gobernadora tiene un proyecto 100% porteño. Junto a Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, Vidal teje los hilos de su nueva aventura política en un espacio más cómodo y con menos riesgo.
Según pudo saber INFOCIELO, el Jefe de Gobierno porteño le ofreció ser su sucesora. Con vistas al sueño presidencial de 2023, Larreta movió sus fichas. Con Vidal de su lado, se animó a enfrentar a Mauricio Macri y Patricia Bullrich. Por eso decidió imponer su propio candidato en la Provincia: Diego Santilli.
Otro porteño más que “cae” en la Provincia. ¿Se quedará, esta vez? Todo indica que será un candidato más que use a la madre de todas las batallas como trampolín electoral y, ante la adversidad, tomará el mismo rumbo que María Eugenia Vidal; ex gobernadora y ahora también ex “orgullosa bonaerense”.
