Sobre el pase de jurisdicción de Vidal, Lousteau manifestó: “No tengo claro qué es lo que María Eugenia quiere hacer. Ella me dice que quiere recorrer el país para crear una candidatura presidencial. Más allá de eso, en este espacio colectivo vamos a dirimir la mejor oferta del plan del 2023 con los actores que tenemos, incorporando a todos los que podamos, para lo nacional y para lo local”.
“El radicalismo hizo una tarea muy importante en ese punto. Fuimos a una interna en la provincia para que la UCR recuperara protagonismo y, a partir de eso, surge lo de Manes. Eso también entusiasma a otros, como Martín Tetaz. Entonces, hay una suerte de oxigenación, una sensación en la sociedad de que hay algo nuevo que está emergiendo”, sostuvo Lousteau.
Asimismo, en declaraciones a medios periodísticos, indicó que “el radicalismo empieza a proyectar figuras en la Ciudad y en la Provincia. Después, las cosas se van a dirimir de acuerdo a las características de los actores en cada distrito, pero también pensando cuál es la mejor propuesta que tenemos que llevar”.
“Hay que ir a buscar a los votantes que se desilusionaron. Ganaste una elección, pero perdiste el Ejecutivo por catorce puntos. Bueno, hay que ir a buscar esos catorce puntos”, expresó sobre lo que será la estrategia electoral de su fuerza.
En tanto, dio a entender que él mismo no será candidato en estas elecciones: “Yo soy senador y estoy cumpliendo un rol importante para la coalición. Además, no se trata de desafiar. No entiendo cuál es el motivo por el cual uno tendría que romper un contrato electoral en un espacio donde estamos trabajando bien en conjunto”.
