Los principales destinos turísticos de invierno trabajaron al 50 por ciento de su nivel durante el fin de semana largo del 9 de Julio, sin la presencia de turismo extranjero y con poco movimiento de turistas nacionales, según un informe elaborado por la Confederación Argentina de la Mediana Empresa (CAME).
La entidad pyme estimó que entre el vienes y hoy, el movimiento reportó un gasto total de alrededor de $ 4.576 millones, con 1,6 millones de viajeros, de los cuales 550.000 correspondieron a turistas que viajaron a provincias en las que no residen habitualmente, mientras que algo más de 1 millón de personas se trasladaron a localidades cercanas en busca de ocio o recreación.
El sector funcionó a un 50% de lo que sería esta fecha sin pandemia. Igualmente, estuvo en línea con las expectativas. Los comercios vendieron poco, porque las familias gastaron principalmente en gastronomía y recreación”, sostuvo CAME, entidad que destacó en Twitter que el sector Turismo“hizo lo que pudo”.
El fin de semana largo del 9 de Julio, y a pesar de que fue el inicio de las vacaciones de invierno en muchas provincias, los principales destinos turísticos “coincidieron en que trabajaron al 50%-55% de lo que hubiera sido este feriado sin la pandemia”, agregaron.
Con una estadía media de 2,6 días y un gasto diario per cápita de $2.250, el feriado del Día de la Independencia dejó ingresos directos por $3.217 millones en las economías regionales y la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
Fueron un total de 550.000 turistas que salieron de viaje, estimó CAME.
A ellos se le agregaron otro 1.0545.000 de excursionistas que decidieron trasladarse a ciudades cercanas en busca de ocio, recreación, deportes o encuentros familiares, quienes desembolsaron en promedio $1.300 cada uno, inyectando un total de $1.358,5 millones directos en los destinos elegidos.
CAME sostuvo que los requisitos de ingresos en algunos distritos desalentaron a moverse, especialmente los que solicitaban seguro de viajero, obra social con cobertura local y certificado de Covid negativo con escasa anticipación.
Desde la entidad pyme especulan que incluso la cantidad de turistas y viajantes podría haber sido mayor este fin de semana, de no ser por la final de la Copa América, entre Argentina y Brasil el sábado, que retuvo a mucha gente en su ciudad a la espera del partido.
En Misiones los distritos “trabajaron bien”, aunque sufrieron la ausencia de turismo internacional y de visitantes locales de distancias lejanasy se augura una temporada atípica para el turismo invernal, según informaron los operadores y empresarios consultados por CAME.
Para estimular la demanda, se implementó el programa “Ahora Vacaciones Litoral”, con incentivos como la bonificación al cliente del 50% del valor de su compra.
Se destacó el turismo aventura en Cataratas de la mano de paseos náuticos, en bicicleta por la selva y el disfrute de la vista del atardecer en la Triple Frontera.
En Córdoba, el fin de semana coincidió con el receso de invierno y eso se notó en elintenso movimiento de autos.
De todos modos, hubo la mitad de la actividad habitual para esta época. Para atraer visitantes, la provincia flexibilizó los horarios para bares y restaurantes hasta las 23 y permitió la apertura de cines, museos y teatros.
En Entre Ríos hubo niveles de ocupación de entre 40% y 50% y las expectativas del sector quedaron medianamente cumplidas, porque se espera sobre todo un flujo más intenso de gente a partir del 19 de julio, cuando comienza el receso invernal en Buenos Aires.
Tierra del Fuego tuvobajos niveles de ocupación, pero un “alto optimismo” porla apertura invernal de Usuahia, el punto más austral del país, se ofrecieron actividades que tuvieron buena respuesta. El Cerro Castor, que abrió el viernes 2 de julio, fue muy visitado. La ciudad tuvo la ventaja de tener una situación sanitaria muy buena.
En Mendoza el flujo turístico estuvo muy tranquilo el fin de semana, con muchos alojamientos cerrados; enChubut, Esquel y Puerto Madryn fueron los polos que más turismo atrajeron, mientras que Santiago del Estero tuvo una fuerte presencia de turistas locales y regionales, con las Termas de Río Hondo liderando las elecciones de quienes llegaron al territorio.
Jujuy, por su parte, tuvo un pernocte promedio de 2,5 días y un gasto diario por turista de $ 2.000; en Formosa sobresalió el movimiento de personas provenientes de otras provincias; Salta tuvo niveles de ocupación promediando el 50%, al tiempo que en La Rioja, el 30% de ocupación provino por parte de viajeros que arribaron de la misma provincia o zonas vecinas.
Por último, el informe de CAME brindó las cifras de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, quese movió con turistas que llegaron de las provincias que iniciaron su receso invernal.
