La Secretaría de Seguridad local desplegó hoy un nuevo operativo de concientización vial y control de documentación vehicular en la intersección de avenida Patricio Peralta Ramos y Roca.
De la actividad participó el intendente Guillermo Montenegro, acompañado por el secretario de Desarrollo Productivo e Innovación, Fernando Muro, y el coordinador de Gabinete, Alejandro Rabinovich.
Con el propósito de concientizar a los conductores sobre el respeto a las normas de tránsito y particularmente, respecto a los límites máximos de velocidad, personal de Tránsito y la Patrulla Municipal realizaron tareas en la zona. En este sentido, se efectuaron controles de medición de velocidad y se utilizó como apoyo del operativo cartelería con la normativa y prohibiciones de la Ley de Tránsito, a fin de promover la seguridad vial.
Mediante las acciones, se educó a los conductores acerca de los límites máximos para transitar por avenidas y calles de la ciudad, las prioridades de paso, la importancia de no consumir alcohol antes de conducir y de no utilizar el celular al volante.
Además, se hizo foco en la utilización del cinturón de seguridad y del casco como elemento de seguridad para los conductores de motocicletas y se remarcó que los niños deben viajar en los asientos traseros, tal como lo indica la reglamentación.
Como balance del operativo, durante la jornada se pudo constatar un total de 175 vehículos que circulaban en sentido norte de la ciudad; de esa cifra, 56% representaban automóviles, 37% camionetas y 7% motocicletas.
Además, se controlaron un total de 64 vehículos a los cuales también se les solicitó la documentación correspondiente para circular.
Asimismo, se verificó que los vehículos transitaban a una velocidad promedio de 39,2 kilómetros por hora, siendo 25 km/h y 58km/h las velocidades mínima y máxima registradas, respectivamente.
