La Dirección de Protección al Consumidor de la Municipalidad infraccionó a cinco bancos por no disponer de alcohol en gel en sus cajeros automáticos. La falta de material sanitizante infringe el artículo 5 de la ley de Defensa del Consumidor.
Asimismo, también se recordó que el Concejo Deliberante emitió una comunicación solicitando que se garantice el efectivo cumplimiento de las instrucciones del Banco Central de la República Argentina referidas a la provisión de alcohol en gel o sanitizante de manos en los cajeros automáticos.
Por otra parte, desde Defensa del Consumidor también precisaron que se controla el tiempo de espera entre cada cliente que ingresa a los bancos, para lo cual -además de existir turnos otorgados previamente- hay una ordenanza vigente que regula este procedimiento. Sobre esta medida, no se detectó ningún incumplimiento durante los controles.
Estas tareas están siendo desarrolladas por inspectores de Lealtad Comercial, área dependiente de dicha Dirección municipal.
