Hay cantidad de juegos y juguetes que estimulan el pensamiento, la creatividad, la inteligencia, para distintas edades. Los juegos bélicos como revólveres, pistolas, ametralladoras, lo único que hacen es simbolizar la violencia y ver como natural aunque sean de plástico, el uso de armas”, señalaron los defensores del pueblo Fernando Rizzi, Daniel Barragán y Luis Salomón.
“Tratamos de convencer a los papás a que no les regalen a sus hijos armas de juguete porque inducen conductas violentas en las criaturas. Hay otras opciones, como juegos de ingenio o de construcción, que sirven para el desarrollo intelectual de los niños. Hoy sigue muy arraigada la costumbre de venir y pedir juguetes bélicos para chicos”, dicen los defensores.
“Las armas son para destruir y matar; y por más que sean de juguete, representan violencia. Y a eso tenemos que mostrarlo como una anormalidad en una sociedad y no institucionalizarlo. Ojalá que también se cree conciencia con relación a los videojuegos, y otros dispositivos que incitan a la violencia y al odio”, señalaron.
