La secretaria general adjunta de la Unión de Trabajadores Hoteleros y Gastronómicos de la República Argentina (UTHGRA), Nancy Todoroff, esperó que la Provincia no retroceda mañana a Fase 3, luego de destacar que desde el sector se trabajó para que “so no sucedad”.
“Hubo mucho trabajo y mucho protocolo de gastronómicos y hoteleros este fin de semana. Todo transcurrió bastante bien: empresarios y trabajadores fueron muy conscientes de la importancia de este fin de semana, no queremos que el martes Provincia nos descienda a Fase 3”, manifestó.
Desde el gremio se llevaron a cabo visitas a espacios gastronómicos y hoteleros del centro, Güemes, Olavarría, Córdoba y Constitución a fin de constatar que los trabajadores estuvieran con todos los protocolos de protección para desarrollar sus labores y así también cuidar a quienes eligieron la ciudad para descansar. Personal de la obra social del gremio estuvo asesorando a los trabajadores sobre cómo accionar en caso de síntomas o contactos estrechos.
“No queremos que los trabajadores ni los clientes se contagien. No abrimos ni soportamos el difícil 2020 para que eso suceda ahora. Y también los visitantes se mostraron muy conscientes en los lugares”, indicó la dirigente al tiempo que señaló que “al igual que en verano el sector Güemes fue el que más trabajó a nivel gastronómico y también hotelero, donde registraron hasta un 90% de ocupación el sábado. El resto de los hoteleros tuvieron un nivel del 70/75% el viernes y un 80/85% el sábado”.
Con respecto a la restricción horaria comentó que “los perjudicados fueron las cervecerías, que suelen cerrar más tarde”, a la vez que resaltó que Inspección General también estuvo llevando a cabo controles cerca de los horarios de cierre para corroborar el cumplimiento de la medida tomada por la provincia de Buenos Aires.
Por último, Todoroff remarcó que “a todos nos preocupa lo que puedan informarnos mañana. No queremos volver a Fase 3. Todos trabajamos en nuestro sector para que eso no suceda”.
