El médico dijo también que sería bueno que en primer lugar se complete la vacunación de los mayores de 60 años con dos dosis, “ya que el 77% de las muertes ocupan esa franja etaria, la de los mayores de 70 años”.
Al ser consultado por la vacunación de los menores, López sostuvo: “Yo respeto la opinión de la OMS que dice que prioricemos lo que más se mueren y los chicos tendrían que estar en una segunda instancia, salvo los chicos que tienen comorbilidades”.
Y agregó que una buena noticia es que ya “se hizo el cierre de convenio con Pfizer y Moderna y si Rusia tiene datos robustos sería un buen dato para vacunar a adolescentes y los chicos más pequeños tendrán que esperar un poquito. Pero me parece que ya vamos por buen camino”.
