La empresa distribuidora de energía, EDEA, infraccionó a tres negocios de la ciudad que contaban con suministro eléctrico de manera irregular. En este marco, alertaron sobre la presencia de falsos técnicos o gestores que, por el pago de una suma de dinero, prometen adecuar las instalaciones para reducir drásticamente el consumo y lo que realizan son arreglos o manipulaciones no lícitas.
Según indicaron, la responsabilidad sobre el trabajo que estos falsos técnicos realizan en las instalaciones o los equipos de medición termina recayendo sobre los titulares del suministro. Por ese motivo recomendaron tener precaución a la hora de contratar estos servicios ilegales.
El personal del área de Normalización de Pérdidas de EDEA realizó en los últimos días 360 inspecciones sobre instalaciones eléctricas de comercios y viviendas de la zona céntrica y la periferia.
En ese marco se detectó la existencia de fraude eléctrico en un comercio de venta de bebidas y fábrica de hielo ubicado en Rodríguez, entre Garralda y Aveleyra. Se constató la existencia en el medidor de conexiones irregulares que evitaban que la energía consumida fuese registrada.
Otro de los casos de robo de energía fue localizado en un minimercado de calle Bis entre 25 de Mayo y 9 de Julio, que presentaba una conexión directa mediante la cual se alimentaba al local, en tanto que el medidor también presentaba signos de haber sido manipulado.
Finalmente, se verificó el robo de energía es una rotisería de General Paz, que llevaba a cabo el ilícito mediante una conexión directa desde la entrada hacia el interior de las instalaciones.
En todos los casos se confeccionaron las actas de infracción, se retiraron las conexiones ilegales detectadas procediéndose a la normalización del servicio, previo pago de la energía consumida en forma irregular y la aplicación de los cargos y las denuncias penales correspondientes.
