Rodrigo Inza, Director de Turismo del Municipio, dialogó con Radio Voz (FM 106.9) sobre la actividad turística en la ciudad durante las vacaciones de invierno y lo que vendrá.
Dijo que pese a los datos que dan cuenta de un gran receso invernal, “charlando con gastronómicos y prestadores, vemos que hay una cantidad enorme de gente en la ciudad, con mucho movimiento y rotación. Estamos teniendo un promedio de estadía de tres noches, por eso el gastronómico lo ve más”
Inza relató que “cuando se dijo que íbamos a tener vacaciones de invierno explotaron las consultas. Sabíamos que iba a haber mucho movimiento dentro del país y no es casual que se dé acá. Tandil es un destino elegido por las características y los servicios producto de un trabajo que se viene haciendo hace muchísimos años”
“Estamos teniendo una oportunidad, la gente está eligiendo la ciudad y tenemos que seguir en la línea que venimos trabajando. Es la continuidad del plan estratégico que tuvo el turismo en Tandil”, destacó el funcionario, quien indicó que “hoy pasa que viene gente de Mar del Plata, almueza, pasa el día, cena y se va. Y es lo que hacíamos nosotros antes, al revés. Tandil está generando eso, son un montón de cuestiones que van generando esto”
En ese sentido, dijo que “tenemos el desafío de mantener esto en el tiempo”
Por último, se refirió a lo que ocurrirá luego del receso invernal: “Estamos teniendo consultas para la semana que viene y para octubre. Ya no se da esa caída abrupta de otros años, que llegaba el domingo a la tarde y no quedaba nadie”, cerró.
