Unos 5.000 porteños ya se inscribieron como voluntarios para formar parte sobre el estudio de la efectividad de la combinación de vacunas que se realizará sobre unas 200 personas que recibieron la primera dosis de la Sputnik V y que en medio de la prueba recibirán como segundo componente las de Sinopharm o AstraZeneca.
En ese sentido, el Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires espera que dentro de un mes ya estén los primeros resultados, tras el seguimiento a las personas vacunadas durante los primeros 14 días, en un estudio considerado “bastante simple”.
A lo largo de ese período se observará si los voluntarios tendrán reacciones adversas leves, moderadas o graves, aunque ya se sabe que “los estudios realizados en el mundo demuestran alta efectividad de la combinación de vacunas”.
Por ese motivo, las autoridades porteñas estiman que “no habrá efectos graves, pero en caso de que ocurra se atenderá cada caso en particular”, motivo por el cual el estudio se acotará entre “200 o 250 voluntarios”.
A los 21 días se analizará la inmunidad de la persona que recibió una segunda dosis de cualquiera de las dos vacunas, ya sea AstraZeneca o Sinopharm, que se utilizarán para hacer la prueba.
Con ese estudio se establecerá si la persona genera el nivel de anticuerpos adecuados, similares a lo que se dan a través del segundo componente de la Sputnik V.
Al respecto, el ministro de Salud porteño Fernán Quirós informó que dicho estudio busca evaluar tanto reactogenisidad, o sea las reacciones que se generan en el cuerpo los días siguientes al recibir la segunda dosis, así como la inmunogenisidad que determina la cantidad de defensa generada a través de la combinación de vacunas.
