El Frente Progresista Cívico y Social -FPCyS- que gobernó la ciudad de Rosario durante tres décadas y doce año a la provincia de Santa Fe ya no existe más. La mudanza de la Unión Cívica Radical a Juntos por el Cambio y el temprano fallecimiento de Miguel Lifschitz puso en crisis el armado progresista que hoy se dirime en un nuevo liderazgo.
En ese pasaje, el intendente de Rosario y principal dirigente del partido Creo, Pablo Javkin, acordó con el socialismo y socios menores el nombre de “Frente Amplio Progresista”, el nuevo sello que representará los interese políticos de la centro izquierda.
Ayer agotado el plazo para anotar las alianzas nacionales, el clásico naranja, azul y blanco que pobló las boletas ganadoras durante años ya no estarán presentes en los cuarto oscuro y una nueva era comienza a proyectarse en Santa Fe.
Si bien, el salto de la UCR a Juntos por el Cambio dejó al progresismo sin un socio principal, en el nuevo Frente Amplio persistirá un nutrido grupo representado por el rector de la UNR, Franco Bartolacci, la presidenta del Concejo Municipal de Rosario, María Eugenia Schmuck y el diputado Fabián “Palo” Oliver nucleados en el espacio Radicales Libres que son uno de los principales aliados de Javkin.
Ahora, en este nuevo escenario, el Frente Amplio Progresista contará con Creo, el partido de Javkin, el Partido Socialista, el Partido Demócrata Progresista – GEN – SI – Pares – Libres del Sur y una nueva agrupación surgida del rompimiento de este último llamada Somos.
En este sentido, el nuevo espacio ya anticipó listas internas entre el armado de Javkin, que lleva al ex senador socialista Rubén Giustiniani de candidato a la Cámara Alta y se menciona a María Eugenia Schmuck como diputada y el socialismo que candidatea a Clara García, la viuda de Miguel Lifschitz y diputada provincial.
Más allá de las próximas elecciones, el nuevo Frente Amplio Progresista tendrá el gran desafío de institucionalizar el acuerdo si prospera en el tiempo, una demanda histórica del radicalismo al socialismo que mantuvo la hegemonía total durante estos largos años.
Es que el Partido Socialista siempre contó con los grandes electores; desde Hermes Binner, Antonio Bonfatti a Miguel Lifschitz y Mónica Fein que desplazó a los radicales a segundos plano. Hoy ese liderazgo lo reclama el intendente Pablo Javkin
