Fernández reconoció que en la arena política, de cara a las elecciones primarias de septiembre, “recién comienza la discusión, por cronograma electoral, el 14 (de julio) tenemos que presentar los acuerdos o las coaliciones que van a competir en las PASO, y el 24 (de julio) las listas de candidatos. Así que estos son días fluidos e intensos”.
Se mostró satisfecho de que la UCR haya podido “consolidar la candidatura de Facundo Manes, para competir en las primarias, pero después hay que armar en cada una de las 8 secciones y 135 distritos, las listas que acompañen esas candidaturas”.
El legislador tandilense fue designado el sábado pasado, como Presidente de la convención partidaria en la provincia, lo que calificó como “un honor enorme y una gran alegría, después de 40 años de militancia ininterrumpida”.
Respecto de la posibilidad de que a nivel provincial, Juntos por el Cambio pueda evitar las internas y competir con una lista única, lo consideró viable, “obviamente con la candidatura de Manes encabezando. Para eso hay que resignar otras candidaturas o pretensiones que están planteadas, pero todos los escenarios están abiertos”.
“El armado tiene un grado de complejidad enorme, porque después puede haber acuerdos en cada sección electoral o no; y ver si esos acuerdos se trasladan en cada nivel distrital. Es un armado complejo y no es lo que le importa a la gente”, analizó.
Y agregó que “vemos necesario en el país, una expresión política que exprese una posibilidad de alternancia con el actual gobierno, que viene cometiendo una serie de errores que han agravado la situación de los argentinos”.
Consultado por el armado radical a nivel local, donde se ha expresado una disidencia interna, encabezada por Marcos Nicolini, Fernández lo describió como “un dirigente radical” y advirtió que “no lo considero afuera del radicalismo, de ninguna manera”.
“Yo, como autoridad provincial del Partido, la idea es tratar de buscar los acuerdos que sean pertinentes, necesarios, sin dejar de reflejar la realidad en cuanto a los niveles de representación. Porque a veces hay algunos que creen que representan más de lo que son. Dentro de los márgenes de razonabilidad, si hay unidad, muchísimo mejor. Pero si no, hay una herramienta, porque los liderazgos los define la gente”, dijo.
“HOY PEDIMOS A NUESTROS ALIADOS POLÍTICOS, LA MISMA LEALTAD”
El ex Jefe de Gabinete del Intendente Lunghi, remarcó que “nosotros acabamos de demostrar que somos un partido democrático. Somos el único que convocó a sus afiliados para elegir sus autoridades, en una interna masiva con más de 129 mil afiliados en la provincia. Y nosotros hace cuatro años nos sometimos a una PASO y la gente definió que el liderazgo lo tuviera Mauricio Macri. Acatamos el resultado de las urnas y actuamos en forma leal, privilegiando la gobernabilidad. Hoy exigimos a nuestros socios y aliados, los mismos niveles de lealtad y de reciprocidad que tuvimos nosotros con ellos”.
Y lanzó: “A mi no me deciden más en Capital Federal quiénes son los candidatos en la provincia. Lo decidimos en la provincia. Si quiere venir alguno, que venga y lo someteremos a la votación de la gente”.
Fernández también dejó en claro que la dirigencia radical, “aspira a cambiar el rol de la UCR dentro de la coalición Juntos por el Cambio, que tuvo hasta ahora”.
Consideró que Facundo Manes “es un candidato absolutamente competitivo, que sintetiza lo que la sociedad está esperando. Viene de afuera de la actividad política tradicional y expresa lo que va a ser la dirigencia del futuro” y sostuvo que esa candidatura y la aceptación de parte del neurólogo, “es producto de un trabajo que lleva cuatro años, en los que venimos trabajando para fortalecer el radicalismo y la candidatura de Manes, es la culminación de ese trabajo”.
“Manes tiene orígenes radicales, pero no es afiliado radical y no es un hombre que haya militado en la política en los últimos 30 años. Y tiene un pensamiento absolutamente afín con lo que nosotros expresamos, como corolario de 130 años de historia”, añadió.
“LAS CUESTIONES LOCALES, LAS DEBERÁN RESOLVER LOS DIRIGENTES LOCALES”
En relación a la interna partidaria local y el armado de lista radical, el diputado se mostró ajeno a esas discusiones, “por una cuestión de respeto mínimo. Estoy toda la semana en Buenos Aires y no tengo el detalle finito del día a día local. Tengo referencias, contactos, conversaciones, etc. Creo que las cuestiones locales, las deberán resolver los dirigentes locales. Yo voy a estar ayudando y acompañando”.
También recordó que su mandato como legislador nacional culmina en diciembre de este año y luego, “puedo seguir con la actividad partidaria, o puede ser que vuelva a mi casa. Y si el partido me necesita, puede que esté de vuelta en carrera. Soy un hombre de la causa, pero no me va la vida en renovar o no”.
Asimismo, también evaluó que en primera instancia, Juntos por el Cambio podría llegar a tener cuatro listas en las PASO, de acuerdo a las intenciones manifiestas de encabezar de Diego Santilli, Jorge Macri, Gustavo Posse y la referida de Facundo Manes y la probabilidad que con el correr de los días, “algunas de esas alternativas se vayan cayendo y esas decisiones tienen reflejo hacia cada distrito”.
También opinó que “en el Frente de Todos se habla y mucho”, de su armado, aunque la atención en estos días estuvo más orientada hacia las definiciones internas de JxC, “pero trasciende poco”.
“También están en un dilema, porque tienen que resolver cuestiones de un frente muy variopinto, donde confluyen desde (Sergio) Berni a Hebe de Bonafini, en los extremos del arco ideológico. Y tienen que definir un armado que no es sencillo”, afirmó.
Consultado por si desde el punto de vista personal, se sintió decepcionado por la figura de María Eugenia Vidal, en algún sentido, Carlos Fernández analizó que “los gobernadores de la provincia de Buenos Aires, de Ruckauf para acá, eran todos dirigentes de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Todos. Lo que nosotros como bonaerenses tenemos que hacer, es ponernos los pantalones largos y entender que esta provincia, que es un país en sí misma, está en condiciones de generar los dirigentes de liderar estos procesos. Es parte de la discusión que hoy estamos teniendo. Es imprescindible que aparezca una identidad bonaerense”.
“En el conglomerado del Gran Buenos Aires están concentrados el 70 % de los votos de la provincia y el 40 % a nivel nacional. Eso implica que todos los dirigentes metan la cuchara en la discusión política de la provincia”, siguió.
Y ejemplificó con el caso de Diego Santilli, a quien calificó como “un buen dirigente, contra quien no tengo absolutamente nada. Es alguien con una experiencia importante. Pero me gustaría que cuando se sienta un gobernador, yo no le tenga que explicar dónde queda Pila, o Castelli o Lezama. Es una provincia que hay que conocerla, que tiene sus complejidades, una enorme diversidad y no es la misma, la discusión en Lomas de Zamora que en Tandil o en Patagones”.
