Un temporal de viento y lluvia que afectó durante la madrugada a Mar del Plata y la zona aledaña produjo la caída de árboles y postes de luz, voladuras de techos, y cortes de energía en al menos cinco barrios, informaron fuentes municipales.
Las fuertes ráfagas se iniciaron a última hora del sábado, en el marco del “alerta naranja” que había emitido el Servicio Meteorológico Nacional, y continuaban durante la mañana del domingo, mientras seguía vigente una “alerta amarilla”, por vientos del sudoeste con velocidades entre 30 y 50 kilómetros por hora, que “podrán alcanzar intensidades entre 60 y 90”.
El temporal impactó tanto al partido de General Pueyrredón como a los distritos vecinos de General Alvarado y Necochea.
Según reportó la Dirección de Defensa Civil marplatense, al menos 11 techos se desprendieron a causa del viento, mientras que se notificó la caída de 13 árboles en distintos puntos de la ciudad, algunos de ellos sobre casas y autos.
Se produjeron además caídas de postes de energía, y cortes de luz en al menos cinco barrios, así como voladuras de cartelerías y empalizadas.
El Municipio informó además que la Secretaría de Desarrollo Social debió brindar asistencia a dos familias afectadas por el temporal.
En la localidad de Miramar, cabecera de General Alvarado, se reportaron por su parte caídas de árboles y marquesinas en algunos comercios, lo que demandó durante la madrugada la intervención de Defensa Civil y Servicios Municipales.
En Necochea, en tanto, cuatro familias debieron ser evacuadas, y se registraron además caídas de árboles y postes de energía.
