El área de Competencias de la Asociación de Clubes anunció que la sede de la Liga Argentina de Básquet que iba a realizarse en Olavarría -imposibilitada de jugar por la decisión municipal de no autorizarla debido a la situación sanitaria de la ciudad- se disputará en Lanús desde el domingo 11. El Antonio Rotili será el estadio de juego.
Esto modificó los planes de Quilmes, que esta noche iba a partir rumbo a Olavarría. No obstante, esto le permitirá seguir en el trabajo de insertar en la táctica al nuevo extranjero, Tirrell Dwayne Brown II, que llegó en reemplazo de Khalil Fuller.
En cuanto al resto del plantel, Quilmes no pudo avanzar en las negociaciones para reemplazar a los lesionados Nicolás Bravo y Francisco González, por lo que solo contará como novedad con Brown II.
Ahora, la continuidad del calendario del “tricolor” es la siguiente: el domingo a las 19:00 enfrentará a Racing de Chivilcoy, el lunes 12 y miércoles 14 jugará a las 16:30 contra Lanús y Gimnasia de La Plata, respectivamente. El último partido será el jueves 15 a las 19:00 contra Rivadavia de Mendoza.
Actualmente el “cervecero” ocupa la sexta ubicación en la Conferencia Sur, con un récord de cinco triunfos y cinco derrotas.
Por otro la Asociación de Clubes anunció que la sede que se disputará en La Rioja comenzará un día después de lo previsto y se extenderá por cuatro días: del jueves 8 hasta el lunes 12, con un día de descanso el 11. Deportivo Norte no será parte de esta burbuja por los resultados de PCR positivo dentro del plantel.
