Unos ciento treinta remeros le dieron un marco especial a la Regata corrida en el mar y que luego de 18 años volvieran a realizarse en Mar del Plata. El evento organizado por el Club Náutico de esta ciudad contó con la participación de deportistas de Tigre, Zárate, Concepción del Uruguay y Mar del Plata.
Las regatas contaron con la presencia de remeros y autoridades de los clubes Regatas Uruguay, Zarate, HACOAJ (Tigre) ; Atlantis (MdP) y del Club Náutico. También se llegó a Mar del Plata, Lorena Corengia, Vicepresidenta de la Asociación Argentina de Remo Aficcionado, quien destacó que “esta realización seguramente servirá para que los organizadores ya fijen una fecha y el año próximo forme parte del calendario nacional. Esta es una oportunidad única y no hay que desaprovecharla”. Tuvo además elogiosos conceptos “para la organización que no ha dejado nada librado al azar”.
Por su parte Martín Inda, integrante de la Subcomisión de Remo del Club Náutico destacó que “esta realización nos demandó un trabajo de más de tres meses. Hace 18 años que no se realizaba este tipo de regatas y esperamos que el año que viene se repita con el doble de gente”, acotando que para lo que resta del 2015 tienen programado “que los chicos puedan realizar 6 regatas mas y haremos muchos esfuerzo para poder conseguir esto”, indicando que “el crecimiento de esta actividad, en mas que destacable en Mar del Plata”.
Por último hizo saber que a nivel Náutico “ La escuelita de verano nos sirve mucho para sumar a chicos que se quieren quedar y de a poco levantamos la cantidad de chicos. Hoy contamos con deportistas de 13 años que apuntan a un buen desarrollo. Es un grupo muy formado de buenos remeros, con buena cabeza y muchas ganas de llegar lejos”.
