A partir de un operativo encabezado por Inspección General, junto a la Policía Bonaerense, se secuestraron más de 300 celulares de locales comerciales que no podían acreditar su origen.
El operativo contó con la presencia de 14 agentes y más de 50 efectivos y policía ecológica, con el objetivo de controlar locales de venta y reparación de celulares.
Como resultado del accionar, se secuestraron 310 equipos de telefonía celular, 7 monitores de PC, 18 tablets, cuya propiedad no pudieron acreditar sus comerciantes. Además, se clausuraron nueve locales y en tres se labraron actas de inspección por el cual se verifica su funcionamiento.
Para esto, se hizo un operativo en la Galería 2001 (Buenos Aires 1800) y locales en la zona céntrica. Se clausuraron locales en Santa Fe 1800 y en Santiago del Estero 1800 por falta de certificado municipal de habilitación y falta de elementos de seguridad.
Además, se confeccionó un acta de inspección y correcto funcionamiento en un local, entrada en Rivadavia 2300. Por su parte, efectivos policiales aprehendieron a dos personas.
Desde la Municipalidad destacaron que el objetivo de estos operativos es disminuir los casos de robos de teléfonos celulares y, al mismo tiempo, desarticular su comercialización de forma ilegal.
