Se firmó hoy en la sede de la Unión del Comercio la Industria y la Producción (UCIP) un acuerdo de buenas prácticas contra la discriminación entre varias instituciones, que sostienen el cumplimiento de la ley N° 23.592 contra los actos discriminatorios en general.
El acuerdo fue firmado entre la Delegación del Instituto Nacional Contra la Discriminación, la Xenofobia y el Racismo en Mar del Plata, la Defensoría del Pueblo de General Pueyrredon, la Defensoría del Pueblo de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, la Unión del Comercio, la Industria y la Producción, la Unión Industrial Marplatense, la CGT Regional Mar del Plata, la CTA Autónoma y la CTA de los Trabajadores.
Entre otros asuntos, el acuerdo brega por el respeto y trato igualitario de las personas, considerando que ningún aspecto o cualidad relativa a la particularidad de una persona o grupo social pueden ser utilizados para establecer tratos diferenciados en el acceso a derechos.
“Buscamos evitar la estigmatización de las personas por su aspecto físico. Erradicar toda alusión a la estandarización de los cuerpos así como la difusión y la reproducción de estereotipos sobre las personas con cuerpos no hegemónicos”, señalaron.
El documento promueve la identificación, el reconocimiento y la eliminación de la marginación, que incluye también el maltrato, el trato desigual y la representación negativa de los cuerpos no hegemónicos.
Impulsa asimismo denunciar la negación de derechos, y procurar las acciones tendientes para generar medidas reparatorias cuando esto haya sucedido. Entre las acciones a realizar, comunicar las formas y vías para denunciar las situaciones de discriminación, especialmente las de INADI.
