A 100 años del nacimiento del célebre artista marplatense Astor Piazzolla, profesores de la Escuela de Música IDRA, junto a artistas invitados, lo homenajearon con una versión de uno de los temas del bandoneonista: “Años de soledad”. Así, se suman a las actividades que se realizarán durante todo el año, relacionadas con el centenario del talentoso músico.
“Es una pieza que expresa a la vez belleza en sus giros melódicos de la mano del sentir intenso de la obra de Piazzolla”, comentó Alejandra Pache, quien se encargó de la dirección musical de esta versión que cuenta además con la participación de los profesores Pablo Oubiña en teclado, Lito Scorcimaro en batería, además de Valentín Navarro en bandoneón y Natalia Rodríguez en saxo como invitados especiales.
“En el inicio el piano y la batería dan cierto aire de misterio, y además, es una canción que introduce en su música el saxo, un instrumento inusual en este estilo, dialogando con su bandoneón. Juntos crean una atmósfera de sutil y algo melancólica belleza”, agrego sobre esta obra originalmente interpretada por Piazzolla junto al saxofonista neoyorkino Gerry Mulligan en un evento “cumbre” realizado en 1974.

First of all I want to say great blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if
