Serán un ensayo que al gobierno de Kicillof le servirá como precedente para organizar la logística de las primarias abiertas, simultáneas y obligatorias (PASO) del 8 de agosto, en medio de la pandemia.
Funcionarios del gobierno bonaerenses se reunieron con autoridades de la Unión Cívica Radical para pulir detalles sobre las elecciones internas de ese partido que se celebrarán el próximo domingo, y que servirán de prueba piloto de cara a las PASO de agosto para evaluar cómo se desarrollan unos comicios en medio de la pandemia de coronavirus.
Según trascendió, el Gobierno provincial pondrá a disposición de la UCR 342 escuelas para que los afiliados se acerquen a votar.
El actual presidente de la UCR bonaerense y ex vicegobernador, Daniel Salvador, se reunió con el jefe de Gabinete bonaerense, Carlos Bianco, y con la ministra de Gobierno, Teresa García, en la que acordaron la logística de los comicios internos, que serán seguidos de cerca por el Gobierno de Axel Kicillof.
La provincia tiene especial interés no en el resultado de la elección que enfrentará al candidato del oficialismo partidario, Maximiliano Abad, con el intendente de San Isidro, Gustavo Posse, sino en que no se produzcan grandes aglomeraciones en los centros de votación que generen riesgos sanitarios.
Para las elecciones internas, están habilitados para emitir su sufragio 650.000 afiliados, de los cuales se espera que concurran a los urnas entre el 10 y el 15 por ciento.
“Les deseamos que la elección transcurra en calma sin ningún tipo de problema, de aglomeración y que sea la democracia quien defina el destino de la conducción de este partido”, señaló Bianco.
En realidad, se trata de la segunda experiencia electoral que se produce en en la provincia de Buenos Aires en medio de la pandemia ya que en octubre pasado se realizaron los comicios para definir la presidencia de Bolivia, en la cual participaron más de 30.000 ciudadanos de ese país residentes en Argentina.
Con las elecciones de Bolivia y las internas de la UCR, se espera que el Gobierno de Kicillof ya tenga un parámetro suficiente para organizar las PASO de agosto, en las que
acudirán a las urnas más de 13 millones de personas.
