El gobernador bonaerense, Axel Kicillof, ratificó hoy que los números de casos de la segunda ola de coronavirus en la Argentina “son alarmantes”, y confirmó que se detectó la cepa de Manaos en la provincia de Buenos Aires.
“Los números son alarmantes, se veía venir”, resaltó Kicillof en declaraciones radiales, y detalló: “Venimos aumentando hace un par de semanas y esta última fue explosivo el incremento (de casos). El mandatario provincial afirmó que “la idea ante el aumento tan grande de casos” fue “generar un retroceso en cuanto al horario nocturno” y limitar “la cantidad de personas en las reuniones sociales”.
“Debemos avanzar en la vacunación a personas de riesgo y tratar de retrasar los contagios. Estamos recogiendo la experiencia nuestra y la de otros países con respecto a las restricciones en las escuelas pero debemos ir midiendo los casos con la vacunación”, subrayó.
La preocupación por el aumento de casos está en alza en La Plata. Este lunes el Gobernador se comunicará con el jefe de Gobierno porteño, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, con el fin de discutir qué medidas coordinadas se pueden tomar en el AMBA, el sector donde se concentran, otra vez, la mayoría de los casos.
Consultado sobre la circulación de la cepa Manaos en la provincia, respondió: “Sí, hay. En la Ciudad también. Las nuevas cepas son mucho más contagiosas”. No son los únicos dos lugares donde se detectó la cepa. Este domingo el gobierno de Formosa informó que se registró un caso en la localidad de Clorinda.
“Se empezó a observar un aumento de los casos en los países vecinos. Venían con un incremento altísimo de casos que todavía no se terminaba de expresar en la Argentina, por eso se tomaron medidas de restricción para contactos con el extranjero”, explicó.
Al referirse al manejo de la pandemia, el gobernador bonaerense precisó que la comunicación con el gobierno porteño se está haciendo “a través de los equipos de la jefatura de Gabinete (de ambos distritos)”. La línea directa está abierta entre el jefe de Gabinete bonaerense, Carlos Bianco, y el porteño, Felipe Miguel. Ambos mantienen vivo el chat donde empezaron a acercar posiciones para la reunión que tendrán Kicillof y Rodríguez Larreta en algún momento de la semana.
“Estamos evaluando cuáles son las medidas más pertinentes. Es una situación mixta, una especie de carrera. Mientras van llegando vacunas, la idea es proteger lo antes posible a la población de riesgo, y evitar el crecimiento de los contagios”, detalló.
En ese sentido, afirmó que junto a Nación y Ciudad están “tratando de generar coordinación para las medidas” que se aplicarán en el Area Metropolitana de Buenos Aires (AMBA).
“El crecimiento del virus es en el AMBA. Hay una batería de medidas, estamos charlándolas”, explicó el gobernador bonaerense, y amplió: “La preocupación es de todos. Larreta me lo expresó a mí y al Presidente. Nadie puede no estar viendo lo que ocurre”.
Respecto de la posibilidad de dar marcha atrás con la presencialidad en las escuelas, indicó: “Estamos teniendo casos de COVID en las escuelas así que tenemos que estar muy atentos. En todo el mundo se están tomando medidas fuertes y avanza la vacunación”.
“Esto (los contagios) empieza en la Ciudad y después termina afectando al Conurbano y todo el país. Es un hecho epidemiológico y no político, es donde entra (el virus) y cómo se desarrolla”, agregó.
Por otro lado, al referirse a las PASO 2021, Kicillof indicó: “Estamos en una situación en donde no se puede hacer una campaña electoral con normalidad”. “La novedad no es el costo de las PASO, sino la situación sanitaria. Se puede charlar la articulación entre una cosa y la otra. La pandemia no le conviene a nadie”, concluyó.
