El operativo se realizó a pedido de los vecinos y fue coordinado entre varias áreas. Representaba un lugar inseguro donde, además, se generaban basurales. También se colocaron luminarias, se conectaron cámaras privadas al COM y se acondicionó una parada de colectivos.
El Municipio derribó una construcción abandonada del barrio Pampa a pedido de los vecinos. La edificación estaba ubicada en Bouchard al 7400 y se constituía “en un verdadero peligro para ellos” indicó el intendente, Guillermo Montenegro, quien junto al coordinador de gabinete, Alejandro Rabinovich, estuvieron presentes en la demolición.
A través de la tarea de Defensa Civil y de la Secretaría de Obras Públicas, se procedió al derrumbe del inmueble, además de llevar adelante trabajos de poda en ese predio, de la puesta en valor de luminarias de la zona y de tareas de acondicionamiento de una parada de colectivos.
“De esta manera se mejoran las condiciones de seguridad de manera integral para la zona”, agregó Montenegro.
En estas tareas participaron el Emvial y el Emsur, entre otras áreas municipales.
Carolina, vecina del barrio, señaló que “necesitábamos las luminarias y que nos saquen los árboles. También que saquen esa casa donde se juntaba mucha gente y no podíamos pasar de noche, un lugar donde también se juntaba basura”.
El predio también se había transformado por momentos en un microbasural, por lo que se concretó una limpieza profunda del lote.
Personal de la Municipalidad también conectó las cámaras privadas -que apuntan al exterior – de las casas de vecinos interesados al Centro de Operaciones y Monitoreo (COM), tal como lo vienen haciendo para fortalecer el sistema de videovigilancia.
