Fue tras un allanamiento coordinado entre la Delegación de Investigaciones del Tráfico Drogas Ilícitas y Crimen Organizado de Mar del Plata, la policía, la fiscalía y la Municipalidad. Los vecinos habían denunciado la inseguridad en la zona. Se secuestró droga, varios elementos y una persona fue aprehendida. Es la tercera estructura con estas características que se logra demoler en la zona.
Esta tarde realizó un allanamiento y luego se derribó una edificación donde se fraccionaban y comercializaban estupefacientes, ubicada en Roque Sáenz Peña al 200, en el barrio San Martín.
El intendente, Guillermo Montenegro, junto al coordinador de gabinete, Alejandro Rabinovich, con la presencia del personal de la Secretaría de Seguridad, estuvieron en el lugar. El operativo estuvo coordinado por la Delegación de Investigaciones del Tráfico Drogas Ilícitas y Crimen Organizado de Mar del Plata, la policía, la fiscalía y la Secretaría de Seguridad del Municipio.
En el procedimiento se allanó un kiosco en donde se vendían estupefacientes, que había sido denunciado por los vecinos en las reuniones que mantuvieron con el personal del área de Seguridad de la Municipalidad.
En estos encuentros dieron a conocer las innumerables molestias que ese lugar provocaba en el barrio, desde hace varios años. La actividad delictiva incluía el robo a los vecinos de la zona, para comprar drogas.
En el operativo se secuestraron estupefacientes, marihuana, varios envoltorios fraccionados, bolsas de nylon, tres teléfonos celulares, elementos de corte y dinero en efectivo, además de aprehenderse una mujer mayor de edad, que será indagada por la fiscalía interviniente.
La fachada del lugar simulaba ser un kiosco. En las ventanas había rejas, también contaba con puertas de chapa de difícil acceso. A su vez, había un boquete, utilizado para la distribución y venta al menudeo.
Cabe destacar que la edificación ya había sido allanada con anterioridad en varias oportunidades por infracción a la Ley de drogas. En la última vez, se logró aprehender a un hombre mayor de edad, se secuestraron dos armas de fuego y material estupefaciente. Esta es la tercera estructura que se logra demoler en la zona.
