El ministro de Turismo, Matías Lammens, adelantó hoy que “en las próximas horas” el Gobierno nacional lanzará una “segunda etapa del plan Previaje” y se anunciará un nuevo programa de asistencia para empresas del sector.
Luego de participar en la reunión de Gabinete económico que se desarrolló en Casa Rosada, el funcionario sostuvo que el Gobierno nacional presentará “dos grandes medidas” para “proteger” al sector del turismo que es considerado como “estratégico”, de cara a la recuperación económica de la post-pandemia.
Respecto de la nueva edición del Previaje, adelantó que se implementará de la misma forma que el año pasado y que servirá para posibilitar la compra de paquetes por adelantado. Los mismos se podrán usar “a partir de diciembre y durante el año próximo”, clarificó.
El plan fue implementado durante 2020, para fomentar el turismo nacional. Tenía como objetivo que la gente adelante la compra de sus viajes y obtenga, a cambio, un beneficio en forma de crédito -el 50 por ciento de lo gastado- para utilizar en más servicios turísticos, sea en el destino al que decidió viajar o en otro.
“Es un plan que funcionó de manera extraordinaria, que fue exitoso y permitió que la gente viajara por Argentina pero, además, le dio al sector una inyección de liquidez importante. Es una medida que venía siendo muy demandada por el sector“, señaló Lammens en diálogo con la prensa.
A su vez, el ministro informó que también se lanzará “un plan adicional para las empresas que están recibiendo el Repro“, para otorgar $22.000 por trabajador de empresas del turismo “para gastos corrientes de capital”. El programa será dirigido por el propio Ministerio y estará solventado por aportes del Tesoro Nacional.
Respecto de la posibilidad de realizar en fecha, adelantar o diferir las vacaciones de invierno, Lammens aclaró que la situación epidemiológica “impide dar certezas”, pero que se está “trabajando para poder, si la situación lo permite, tener temporada”. Igualmente, determinó que será decisión de las provincias pero aclaró que, más allá de la importancia central del turismo, “la prioridad es que los chicos puedan ir a la escuela”.
