El ministerio de Salud bonaerense ampliará el estudio sobre combinaciones de vacunas procedentes de diferentes laboratorios y, para ello, reabre la convocatoria a voluntarios y voluntarias residentes en el Gran La Plata.
Los requisitos para formar parte de la investigación son los siguientes:
– Ser mayor de 18 años;
– Ser residentes de Gran La Plata (La Plata, Ensenada y Berisso);
– No haber tenido un diagnóstico de COVID-19 positivo;
– Haber recibido la primera dosis de alguna de las vacunas que se aplican en la provincia contra Covid-19 entre 7 y 45 días previos a la inscripción para formar parte del estudio;

La provincia de Buenos Aires fue una de las elegidas por el Gobierno nacional para evaluar la respuesta del uso de vacunas de distinta procedencia en una misma persona. La investigación busca multiplicar las posibilidades de inmunización.
Con esta clase de investigaciones, que ya se realizan en otras partes del mundo, se podrá contar con información rigurosa y específica en base a las vacunas que se aplican en el país, la situación epidemiológica y las variantes que circulan en territorio bonaerense.
Para corroborar la inmunidad que proporcionan las diferentes combinaciones de vacuna, las personas que participen del estudio serán convocados periódicamente a realizarse análisis de sangre en establecimientos de salud ubicados en la ciudad de La Plata.
Desde la cartera de Salud bonaerense explicaron que se dividirá a los grupos aleatoriamente según la combinación de dosis, que puede ser heteróloga (de distintos laboratorios) u homóloga (del mismo laboratorio), para formar parte de lo que se conoce como “grupo control”.
