El jefe de Gabinete, Santiago Cafiero, y la ministra de Salud, Carla Vizzotti, recibieron esta mañana en Ezeiza un vuelo proveniente de Miami con más de un millón de dosis de la vacuna de AstraZeneca.
La aeronave Boeing 767, de la compañía Latam Cargo Colombia, aterrizó en Ezeiza a las 10:00, después de haber partido desde Miami con 1.139.000 dosis de vacunas en sus bodegas.
“Esta es la campaña de vacunación más grande de nuestra historia. Se viene escalando rápidamente en todo el territorio nacional. Esto es lo que necesitamos para terminar con la pesadilla de la pandemia”, indicó Cafiero desde Ezeiza.
“Hoy está llegando un vuelo de China con vacunas de Sinopharm. También van a llegar mañana, el miércoles y el viernes”, agregó.
En tanto, la ministra de Salud aclaró que “ninguna dosis de ninguna vacuna vence”.
“Estamos trabajando para que lleguen más dosis del componente dos de Sputnik V”, expresó.
Respecto a los nuevos controles dispuestos por Migraciones, aseveró: “Es muy poca la gente que está ingresando al país. Son 1500 personas por día. Es muy poca gente, hay que fiscalizar el cumplimiento de la cuarentena aunque les haya dado el test negativo”.
“La cepa Delta va a seguir apareciendo a medida que circule el virus. Es una respuesta del virus. Las nuevas variantes son más transmisibles. Se está estudiando la letalidad”, subrayó.
Y concluyó: “Si cumplimos con los cuidados, vamos a lograr disminuir los contagios y la tensión en el sistema de salud. Faltan dos meses de frío”.
