Boca Juniors, nuevamente con futbolistas juveniles por el aislamiento obligatorio del plantel profesional, recibe este martes a San Lorenzo de Almagro, en un encuentro válido por la tercera jornada de la Liga de Fútbol Profesional (LPF) de Primera División.
El partido se juega desde las 21 en el estadio Alberto J. Armando, con arbitraje de Fernando Echenique y transmisión de la señal de cable Fox Sports.
El “Xeneize” viene de empatar sin goles ante Banfield, el sábado pasado, con un equipo integrado por juveniles, debido al aislamiento obligatorio de 24 profesionales, luego de lo que fue su escandalosa eliminación de la Copa Libertadores, en Brasil, a manos de Atlético Mineiro.
La institución boquense solicitó el domingo a la Liga reprogramar el partido de la tercera fecha “para el miércoles próximo a las 21 o para el jueves 29 en cualquier horario”, para no hacerlo el martes, como está dispuesto y así “evitar exponer a juveniles” y poder contar con los profesionales que deben mantenerse aislados hasta el próximo miércoles a las 18.
En la tarde del lunes, la LPF confirmó la realización el partido desde las 21 del martes y rechazó el pedido de la dirigencia “xeneize”. La Liga difundió en un comunicado que le informó a Jorge Ameal, presidente de Boca, que “de conformidad con el artículo 27 del Reglamento de los torneos de la temporada 2021, los días y horarios programados serán inapelables por los clubes, quienes deberán cumplir obligatoriamente los mismos”.
El entrenador Sebastián Battaglia, quien volverá a reemplazar a Miguel Ángel Russo, no podrá contar con el delantero Ezequiel Almirón, quien sufrió un desgarro en el isquiotibial derecho en el choque ante el “Taladro”.En su lugar entrará Erik Bodencer, quien lo reemplazó a los 30 minutos de la primera parte en el último compromiso jugado en el estadio Florencio Sola.
Otro de los jugadores que puede ser baja ante el “Ciclón” es el defensor Valentin Barco, quien padeció un tirón el último sábado y fue reemplazado a 11 minutos de final por Nahuel Genez, futbolista que ocupará su lugar sobre el lateral izquierdo de la defensa de ser necesario.
El futbolista colombiano Frank Fabra, por su parte, quedó a disposición del DT Battaglia, tras haber cumplido la cuarentena de siete días desde su regreso de Colombia el lunes pasado.Sin embargo, el defensor de 30 años que participó con su país en la Copa América de Brasil no estaría entre los convocados ante San Lorenzo por la falta de entrenamientos y por el poco ritmo de juego ya que solo jugó un solo partido en el torneo continental (ante Argentina).
