La iniciativa cuenta con el apoyo de los ministerios de Trabajo y Educación de provincia y Nación y el de Producción, Ciencia e Innovación Tecnológica bonaerense, así como del Servicio Nacional de Sanidad Animal (Senasa), Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata, Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Asociación de Embarcaciones Costeras y sindicatos del ramo.
