Muy sereno y expectante, pero diseñando el futuro político de la UCR dentro de la coalición Juntos Para el Cambio, Maximiliano Abad se mostró comprometido en lograr un presidente de la Nación y un gobernador de la Provincia de Buenos Aires en 2023.
“Estamos muy felices, la junta electoral dio el resultado de 80 distritos en distintas secciones electorales y se consolida una tendencia irreversible. La UCR se movilizó en el marco de una pandemia en un estado de excepción, concurrió a votar para elegir a sus autoridades para construir este radicalismo para forjarlo y ponerlo en valor”, manifestó el flamante presidente electo de la UCR de la Provincia de Buenos Aires
Sobre los próximos pasos de la UCR consideró: “Lanzarlos al futuro y a liderar nuestra coalición. Vamos a trabajar para que haya un presidente y gobernador en el 2023. En esta elección no derrotamos a nadie, vamos a convocar a la unidad de la UCR para trabajar de cara al futuro, hay que construir alternancia. Muy contentos con el radicalismo latente, vivo, protagonista y que hoy demostró que va a elecciones, que elige a sus autoridades y acude masivamente a elegir a las mismas, sin lugar a dudas”.
Y resumió “Lo veníamos diciendo en campaña un radicalismo que se puso en valor, que quiere ser gobierno. En la provincia veíamos el entusiasmo de la dirigencia, la militancia y la familia radical. Con este proceso electoral, pero fundamentalmente con la construcción de un radicalismo del futuro basado en ideas, organización y nuevos liderazgos. Que sostenga la coalición opositora pero que se abrace definitivamente al futuro y eso es lo que vimos en la campaña”.
