Las tarifas de electricidad en la provincia de Buenos Aires aumentarán un 7% a partir del mes que viene, anunció hoy el gobernador Axel Kicillof, quien cuestionó duramente la política energética de la ex gobernadora María Eugenia Vidal. La decisión no incluye a los usuarios del Gran Buenos Aires, ya que abarca a las cuatro concesionarias eléctricas del interior provincial: Eden, Edes, Edea y Edelap.
El subsecretario de Energía bonaerense, Gastón Ghioni, detalló este viernes que “estamos anunciando un aumento de 7% en la tarifa final a partir del 1 de abril e iniciar con las empresas un período de negociación para definir costos e inversiones necesarias hacia adelante. Esas inversiones van a garantizar el sostenimiento de la red”.
Luego, Kicillof indicó que con las tarifas “hemos hecho un inmenso trabajo de auditoría de lo que dejó el Gobierno anterior, que aplicó una política de tarifazos”. El mandatario provincial ejemplificó que “para cumplir lo que dejó Vidal, habría que aplicar un aumento del 217%, es decir, triplicar las tarifas actuales”.
“No vamos a convalidar ese ajuste. Pero es un problema que tenemos que abordar, porque se trata de aumentos inaplicables. Ni Vidal podría haber respetado lo que había firmado”, enfatizó el gobernador, en el marco de un anuncio que realizó en La Plata.
A su criterio, durante la gestión de Vidal “hubo tarifazo, pero no mejoró la calidad del servicio ni se realizaron las inversiones comprometidas”. En ese sentido, comentó que “la plata (de los aumentos) fue a la ganancia de las empresas: un total de 310 millones de dólares”. Por ese motivo, resaltó que “ante esta situación, venimos de un año y medio de suspensión de aumentos en las tarifas de electricidad”.
Kicillof dijo que el ajuste que se aplicará desde abril próximo será del 7% y anticipó que “luego, a partir del año que viene, veremos cuál es la nueva revisión tarifaria a aplicar hasta 2027”. “Las tarifas tienen que ser justas y razonables, tienen que ser pagables”, subrayó.
Además, afirmó que “hay que asegurar que las inversiones se hagan, por eso es necesario acordar con las concesionarias”. El mandatario bonaerense consideró que el Estado “tiene que controlar a las empresas y regular las tarifas, de tal manera que sean pagables”.
“Por ahora estamos con el yunque y con el lastre que firmó Vidal, y con una red eléctrica en la Provincia que es decadente y está injustamente distribuida”, se quejó. En agosto del año pasado, el Gobierno bonaerense había congelado las tarifas eléctricas de las cuatro principales distribuidoras -que pertenecen a la empresa- que proveen el servicio en el territorio provincial.
En aquel momento, la administración provincial había garantizado que se continuaba con el proceso de análisis y revisión de los ingresos requeridos y reconocidos en los cuadros tarifarios resultantes de la Revisión Tarifaria Integral (RTI) que incluye el cumplimiento de las inversiones comprometidas a cargo de la Subsecretaría de Energía. Finalmente, Kicillof anunció este viernes la decisión de ajustar en un 7% las tarifas del servicio eléctrico.
